Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Here have some random Fire Demon info

So I just came up with a little bit of new information about my own race I made up. Fire Demons.

( The race info sheet just incase you want a little gander about them )

But anywho, I'm just posting this up for those I know have there own Fire Demon oc's ( if you want to make one your welcome to just note me about it ) concerning the comic that

made.

Like she said in the description, Fire Demons sort of molt there horns off but it only happens once in there whole life. It usually happens in there teen years or mid 20's, but it's pretty rare for it to happen at a later time. ( It's kind of like puberty almost? )

Once the horns fall off, the demon will undergo a series of bad migraines and will actually be a little more snappy and low tempered as usual, but the side effects only last about a few days ( The most they'll last is a week.)

This whole thing happens so that once the old horns fall off, new and even bigger horns can grow in...even though the first few months they'll be stuck with nubby baby horns until they grow in fully hjghg
